Condensed Matter Physics Ankara Meeting, which has been held by a university in Ankara (Ankara, Bilkent, Gazi, Hacettepe and Middle East Technical University) every year for 26 years without interruption, was hosted by our University this year at the Faculty of Education Gazi Concert Hall on Friday, December 4, 2021 .

Our faculty members, Prof. Dr. Süleyman ÖZÇELİK, Prof. Dr. Mehmet CAKMAK, Prof. Dr. Saime Sebnem AYDIN, Assoc. Dr. Nihan AKIN SONMEZ and Assoc. Dr. Yashar AZIZIZAN took an active role in the organization of the event, scientific presentations and session chairs. At the meeting, Assoc. Dr. Yashar AZIZIZAN was the invited speaker with his presentation titled "Light generation suitable for microscopy, quantum optical communication and optical manipulation".

Our Head of Department Prof. Dr. Süleyman ÖZÇELİK's opening speech, and original studies in the field of Condensed Matter Physics, including Photonics Science and Technology, were presented by researchers in our country, and our 1st year undergraduate students also attended as listeners.
